Experimental research on speed characteristics of parallel connected variable frequency pumps

Sets up an experimental platform for parallel connected variable frequency pumps, and presents the experiment conditions and method of data processing. Analyses the variation characteristics of power and efficiency of two pumps with frequency at different operation points of voltage and different parallel connected variable frequency operation modes. The results indicate that the variation characteristics of total power and total efficiency of the pumps are quite different when the operation points are in the high efficiency zone. For the parallel connected variable frequency operation of two same pumps, the results of synchronous frequency conversion operation are better than those of the asynchronous frequency conversion.
